Sending To-Dos To Your Mechanic

Making a To-Do list is easier than resolving it, we know that. And often times you want to have your preferred service provider resolve the issue, so we make the sharing and communication process easier for you, in fact it’s as easy as 1/ 2/ 3/

1/ Make Sure Your Vehicle Has A Preferred Service Provider

CARPORT organizes your preferred service provider by each vehicle, because we know you may have different vendors for different cars, and the process of flagging a service provider as ‘preferred’ is done along with your uploaded receipts.

Do it as you upload receipts:

As you enter a receipt, tick the

ADD AS SERVICE PROVIDER

box and we’ll save it to make future receipt entry easier and also designate it as a ‘preferred service provider’

If you already uploaded receipts, just edit:

2/ Add An Email Address For Your Provider

To generate the email we need to know where it should go. So underneath your To-Do list is a carousel of your preferred service providers, which you can edit to add info.

Tap the edit icon:

Then add any and all information you would like to add. An email address is required to enable To-Do sharing.

3/ Now Enabled, Go Ahead And Share

Now you’re ready to share To-Dos with your service provider.

Click the up-arrow share icon:

CARPORT will then open a new email window in your preferred email app, with the relevant information attached, including any images you put into your To-Do items.

We use your regular email app so it’s easier for you to handle the replies etc, instead of having to go back into CARPORT for that.

In the email we provide a quick view of your basic maintenance items status as well, just so your mechanic knows.

And that’s it… now you have an easier way of communicating with your service provider, less time explaining, more time driving.
